Ahmad Fahmy Snaps at Haters on Hannah ElZahed’s Instagram

It’s the season for red carpets, glamorous gowns, cinema awards, and obviously social media rants. This week is all about the Cairo International Film Festival’s (CIFF) 40th edition, and while we would love to talk again and again about the uprising fashion sense in Egypt, we’ll refrain from that and talk about rants instead. Egyptian Actor, Ahmad Fahmy, decided that enough is enough with social media haters.

Actress and Fahmy’s fiancée, Hannah El Zahed, posted a photo of the couple at CIFF’s opening ceremony, all dressed up and glammed in a Kojak Studio gown and suit. But what is social media without a couple of fashion police officers here and there? Long story short, someone called Hannah’s dress horrible and all hell broke loose!

Hassan_2.1: What’s that horrible dress? Ahmadfahmy_official: You can’t walk next to it, not alone buy it. Yazishedeed: She doesn’t deserve you ahmadfahmy_official: and she deserves filthy you?

Ahmad Fahmy fiercely defended his wife-to-be, however, fans weren’t happy about it. We understand the cruelty of social media, but celebrities should refrain from engaging with social media haters. It sometimes sounds more hostile than it should, which could cost them a few fans. This is not the first time Fahmy jumps to Hannah’s defense; he’s quite known for his Instagram comebacks.

myrft.ty: Her voice is really bad, just like a dude! ahmadfahmy_official: You shouldn’t say that only because you were meant to look just like women.
