“Viral” – Now unless you are talking about your latest campaign, this is probably the scariest word for any conglomerate, especially when it refers to some of the worst news anyone in the food industry can have… Yes I am talking about incriminating photos of behind the scene footage which in this case is of employees standing in the lettuce bowls.
Yes you read right! There is a famous saying “Don’t piss off your waiter, cuz you never know what they will do to your food”. Well in this case these 3 Burger King employees took it to a whole new level when pictures were recently posted on 4chan with the caption “This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King.”
The branch was quickly identified as the BK in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. The branch is said to be privately owned and operated by one Bryson Thornton, confirming that the three employees had been fired he added “Burger King Corp. has recently been made aware of a photo that shows a Burger King restaurant employee violating the company’s stringent food handling procedures. Food safety is a top priority at all Burger King restaurants and the company maintains a zero-tolerance policy against any violations such as the one in question.”
