Believe it or not, the city of love (aka Paris) has a very massive Arab population. Almost every street in Paris has a Lebanese or Moroccan restaurant, which is why we’ve rounded up a list of places most Arabs frequent when/if they’re there.
Boulevard Barbes and Rochechouart
Those two boulevards are the main concentration of Arabic shops and markets. Think different Arab cuisines and friendly faces!
La Goutte d’or Neighbourhood
Also known as “Little Africa,” this street is known for its diverse Arab population; with people coming from Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and more.
Founti Agadir Restaurant
Hands down the best Moroccan restaurant in Paris. For y’all Maghrebeyeen out there, you don’t need to go home to have some of your grandma’s nomnomnom dishes!
Mosquée de Paris Restaurant
Located within La Grande Mosquée de Paris, this eatery serves wonderful traditional North African pastries.
Rue Des Poissonniers
Much like Boulevard Barbes and Rochechouart, this street is flooded with Arabs! Whenever you want to feel like home, wherever you are from the Arab world, just go there. There’s restaurants, mosques, everything!
The Subway
We’re not sure why we frequent the subway! Maybe it reminds us of Egypt’s Metro back home? We’ll never know…
