Egyptian Tourism Ministry Grants Wish Of Children In Jeopardy Of Losing Sight With Trip To Pyramids
A Canadian family has been taken on a trip to visit Egypt’s historic landmarks by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. The Head of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, Amr al-Kady, mentioned on Monday, April 10 that the trip was organized in hopes of fulfilling the kids’ dreams of seeing the Pyramids as they are threatened with blindness due to a rare disease.
In an interview with TV host, Youssef al-Husseini, Kady described the kids as a “humanitarian case, and there is international sympathy with them.”
The three children will not only be going on detailed trips across Cairo’s archeological sites but they’ll also have tourism programs for both Luxor and Aswan for the entire family to enjoy.
