Art Season Kicks off With the Fourth Edition of Dubai Canvas 3D Art Festival
To all the creatives and art lovers out there, Dubai Canvas 3D Art Festival is a one of a kind event that is not to be missed. The festival is organized by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office is where prominent international artists get to exhibit their 3D art publicly.
This year, Dubai Canvas is back for its fourth edition, from the 1st till the 7th of March. This time it will take place at La Mer as the organizers partnered up with Meraas, one of Dubai’s leading holding companies. The beach destination in Jumeirah will be transformed into an open-air gallery. The transformed art space will be featuring the works of talented Emirati artists and more than 30 international artists.
Last year’s winners are among those who confirmed that they will attend this year. On top of that list comes Italian Artist, Cuboliquido, who won Dubai Canvas 3D Art Award last year. In addition to second place winner, Danila Shmelev from Russia, and Leon Keer from the Netherlands, third place winner. As for Emirati artists participating, they’ll include Sarah Al Khouri, Asma Al Khouri, and Fatma Al Ali.
In an attempt to associate creativity to Dubai’s identity and to enhance its artistic and cultural ambiance, the festival won’t just include the 3D masterpieces. It will also feature workshops and street performances.
