During the holy month of Ramadan, we try to increase our good deeds, do more charity work and acts of kindness. We send our love and greetings to our friends, family, and to those we haven’t seen in a long time. We reconnect with people as this is just a part, but an integral one, of what Ramadan is all about. As we keep in touch with people, we shouldn’t forget about our neighbors as according to Orange’s latest ad they’re the closest, yet the furthest.
Egyptians are well known for having strong ties with their neighbors, especially during Ramadan. From get-togethers around Suhur or Iftar to the plate of desserts that keeps going back and forth from their flat to yours.
Unfortunately nowadays with our busy hectic modern life, we’ve become unable to keep up with those beautiful traditions. We might be stumbling upon our neighbor in the elevator, yet, we don’t take the time to get to know them for real. That’s exactly what Orange is trying to stress on in their latest campaign.
The campaign revolves around six characters played by superstars Mohamed Mounir, Donia Samir Ghanem, Dhafer L’Abidine, Hend Sabry, Nicole Saba, and Hossam Ghaly. Each sings to their neighbor and despite any disliked behaviors of theirs they still admire them truly.
