WATCH: Weaving Color onto the Pyramids

While robotically scrolling through Facebook today, searching for something — anything — to stimulate our brains amidst the clickbait optical illusion pictures that “you won’t believe” and the once-innovative, now-generic food videos that have taken over our newsfeeds, we came across this video posted by the ARTS in Paris page.

The video is a well-made fake, but we love the idea of simultaneously releasing thousands of colorful spools of thread down the face of Egypt’s most iconic landmark.

Imagine if they did this in real life. Cleanup would be a mess, but the results are astounding.
