Walking On Memory Lane: Gouna Film Festival Rolls Out Its 5th Anniversary Dates For 2021
The Gouna Film Festival is one of the leading festivals in the MENA region. For the past four years, it showcased a wide variety of films, with the primary goal to exchange cultures, and connect filmmakers from the MENA region with their international counterparts.
Celebrating five years as one of the most pioneering film festivals in the region, GFF announces their dates for the 5th edition, which will be held from October 14th-22nd, 2021. The 5th edition of the GFF will relatively be held in a similar manner from the past four years. The festival has continuous support from actors, actresses, filmmakers, directors, the media, and critiques.

GFF’s program includes three official competitions. For each competition, there are specific jury members from different backgrounds, nationalities, and professions. Some of the pioneers of the filmmaking industry are members of the jury, including actor Asser Yassin, and award-winning Sudanese filmmaker and screenwriter, Amjad Abu Alala. Also in in the jury are director and producer, Peter Webber, acclaimed Egyptian director, Marianne Khoury, the world-renowned Indian actor Ali Fazal, Syrian actress, Kinda Alloush, and Tunisian filmmaker, Raja Amari.
