Viral TikTok Lebanese Song “Basbousa” Makes Its Way To The 2023 Louis Vuitton Men’s Fashion Show

At the 2023 Louis Vuitton Men’s Fashion Show at Paris Fashion Week, the background music featured the hit Arabic song “Basbousa,” by Lebanese artist Ahmad H Music. Latin Grammy award-winning singer Rosalia was also at the show performing before being seen dancing to this viral TikTok song. Apart from Rosalia, models were spotted dancing to Basbousa. Even some fans took their excitement to social media according to Arab News and shared their joy online. One fan posted: “Do you hear that? Rosalia is playing ‘Basbousa’ at the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris. This is why she is the GOAT.”

The French filmmakers Michel and Olivier Gondry were also part of the show. Their work could be seen on the stage as they built a house in which a boy’s early years are depicted, culminating in adulthood, where memories and experiences of the inner child remain eternally present all based on the ideology of “growing up.”

But that’s not all since in addition to the song, there was also some Arab presence., UAE’s Mohammed and Humaid Hadban, better known as Twins Hadban, were spotted at the latest Louis Vuitton Men’s Fashion Show. The twins were accompanied by South Korean Rapper J-Hope, the boy band BTS member. Twins Hadban has amassed close to a million followers across a variety of platforms thanks to their coordinated, vibrant matching looks and visually appealing social media accounts. They have been drawing attention through their TikTok account which kicked off back in 2021 as they currently have 1.2M subscribers just on the video-sharing website.

Twins Hadban attended other shows by Dior, Givenchy, AMIRI, and Prada. Moreover, in 2022, they were part of an American Eagle campaign and collaborated with high-end luxury brands like Gucci and Kenzo. They now attend European fashion weeks on a regular basis, sitting in the first row and mingling with superstars like Colombian musician J Balvin, American actor Jake Gyllenhaal, and American-Egyptian actor Rami Malek.
