UAE to Host One of the Biggest Cycling Events in The Region “Tour of UAE”
During a joint press conference of the Dubai Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, on Wednesday, it was announced that the Dubai Tour and Tour of Abu Dhabi cycling events will be merged into one big event, Tour of UAE. The tour is expected to be one of the biggest cycling events in the region.
According to Gulf News; The Tour will consist of seven stages, running across the seven emirates of the country, and will retain its status as a World Tour event under the governing body UCI.
The first stage of the event will be held in February 2019 and the organizers have submitted two dates to the UCI for their ratification for the yearly calendar.
