UAE Students Become First To Construct a Fully Arab-Made Satellite
HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid proudly visited students in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center on Saturday. The students constructed the KhalifaSat, the first 100 percent Arab based satellite with out foreign aid and it is set to launch next year.
Sheikh Mohammed was quoted by local media that “Emirati engineers are the first in the Arab world to construct a satellite without foreign assistance. This is a major achievement that signifies the high level of capabilities UAE youth have acquired in space technologies,”
