UAE Fitness Buffs, Brace Yourselves for Next Friday’s Dubai Run

As part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge activities, a section of the city’s most prominent highway, Sheikh Zayed Road, will be open for runners next Friday, the 8th of November.

Last month we have written about the Dubai Fitness Challenge and its third edition, which is currently undergoing in Dubai. In 2017, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, launched an initiative to help Dubai become one of the most active cities worldwide. This initiative was called The Dubai Fitness Challenge, and since then, it has grown into a health and fitness movement celebrated around the UAE.

This year’s edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge will continue until Saturday, the 16th of November.

Next Friday’s run has two available tracks; first, a five-kilometer fun run open to people from all ages and abilities, and the second one, a 10-kilometer run, which is only open to people above 18 years of age and has to be completed in under 80 minutes. In these two runs, participants can marvel at the landmark buildings of Dubai that they could miss on a normal day. Make sure to not miss the start line at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

If you want to participate get visit Platinumlist and register prior to the event. Please note that while wheelchairs are permitted for the fun run, rollerblades and strollers are not.

WE SAID THIS: Don’t miss: The Third Edition Of The Dubai Fitness Challenge Is Coming To The UAE.
