The Ministry of Economy had already directed the auto dealers earlier in the UAE to thoroughly conduct a review of all their vehicles, which were manufactured between, 2012 and 2018 to ensure public safety. As a result, there were more than 13,000 vehicles included in the safety recall campaign between June and July only.

The process of recalling the vehicles will start in the 22nd of July, 2018 due to a number of issues varying from defective airbag sensors, sunroof glasses, and fuel tanks.

WE SAID THIS: Safety should always come first!
