Straight From London to Dubai – ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ Debuts in 2019
The Phantom of the Opera is almost there; but this time for real and not just inside your mind! It was just announced that one of the world’s most popular musicals is set to take to the stage next year, 2019, in Dubai Opera for the very first time ever.
Even though the debut is expected to take place next fall, tickets will be available for sale right after this Christmas. However, registration starts as of today, Thursday 13th of December, 2018, on the Dubai Opera’s official website.
The magical show, created by British Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, will make it all the way from London to mesmerize audiences of the UAE with a captivating storyline, endless chanting, and sensational performances.

The musical that first premiered back in 1986 tells the story of seemingly menacing Phantom who haunts the 19th century Paris Opera House. The Phantom stumbles upon Christine, a young beautiful soprano who intrigues him with her angelic voice and talent and ends up caught up in his obsessive love. This musical is all about intense emotions, from obsession to anger, to love, jealousy, and beyond.
