The Somali American Model earned a lot of firsts in her not so long living years. When she was 19 years old she made the first appearance in Miss Minnesota USA pageant in burkini and hijab, and this high profile model and effortless beauty also was the first to sign with the top and elite modeling agency IMG.

Halima is breaking major stereotypes, yet she stays true to ground, and we believe that what is behind her mesmerizing presence. After so many years, Halima made it to the refuge Camp she was raise in originally in Kakuma, as the UNICEF Ambassador, and she is willing to use her high profile to help this camp by resources and media attention.

The St. Cloud State University graduate and the homecoming queen in high school had to move to the states when she was 6 after her home village got burned down during the Civil Somali War, in 1992.

WE SAID THIS: Halima Aden is our newest Muse!
