Mo Salah Breaks Another Record Becoming Liverpool’s All-time Premier League Scorer

In a grueling match between Liverpool and Manchester United on Sunday, March 5 that resulted in a 7-0 in Liverpool’s victory. As fans sat on the edge of their seats, Mo Salah scored two goals during minutes 66 and 83 against Spanish goalie David De Gea.

The two goals officially mark Salah as Liverpool’s all-time Premier League scorer, breaking Robbie Fowler’s record.

Prior to Salah’s goals, Cody Gapko and Darwin Núñez each scored two goals to kickstart the goal-fest. Followed by the six goals, Brazillian star, Roberto Firmino killed the match by landing a seventh goal at minute 88.

Celebrating this momentous victory, Salah took to Instagram to celebrate their win against Manchester United, “an extraordinary day for all Liverpool fans. I’m honored to keep making history with this great club!”

Aside from the Egyptian King’s new victory, it was a win for the entire Liverpool team as post the match, they’re that much closer to landing a spot in the top 4 that would then qualify them for the Champions League title. They’re also officially three points away from tying for fourth place with Tottenham with an extra match to play.

This win came after a series of defeats for The Reds, but Salah is definitely not new to breaking records as just last week he became the biggest scorer across Europe’s Champions League.
