Mony Hilal has been announced as the next young lady to represent our country and compete in the 68th Edition Miss World 2018 in China this December.
Let’s talk about the pink –Skinny– elephant in the room; we haven’t had a hot Miss Egypt World in quite some time. Beauty comes in all sizes, shapes, colors and all, and we are against objectifying women by all means, but this is a beauty pageant whether we like it or not. So, we do expect grace, representation, and a statuesque physique which is exactly what Helal offers.
The Dubai-based model and social media influencer is also a philanthropist with contributions to charitable associations such as Misr El Kheir, Gannat El-Kholoud, and Baseera for the Visually Impaired. Other than her humanitarian work, she previously worked as a PR agent and a cosmetic tattoo specialist.
“I am looking forward to changing the stereotype of beauty pageant queens; I believe that true beauty comes from inside,” the 26-year-old model said.
