Jeddah’s Super-Dome To Host WWE’s King & Queen Of The Ring This May

Taking place on May 27 at the Jeddah Super-dome, the famous WWE event, King and Queen of the Ring, is returning once again to Saudi Arabia. The event is said to be the first live King of the Ring pay-per-view since 2015. However, details concerning which wrestlers will be competing have not yet been released.

This is not the first time that Saudi Arabia has hosted this type of sporting event. On Oct. 2021, in Riyadh, we saw Zelina Vega defeat Doudrop earning the title queen of the ring. On the other hand, Xavier Woods triumphed over Finn Balor and was crowned king of the ring.

On Feb. 19, 2023, another WWE event took place in Riyadh. It was the Elimination Chamber contest which was considered the seventh event that the WWE has presented in Saudi Arabia as part of a 10-year agreement in support of Saudi Vision 2030.

Finally, back in Feb. 2022, WWE had another presence in the country as their superstars traveled to Jeddah to be part of the “Be A Star” program, aiming to teach young people respect through education.
