Last night Al Ahly has managed once again to put a smile across their fans’ faces with their Egyptian Premiere League win. Moamen Zakaria, ex- Zamalek player who recently moved to Al Ahly in January, managed to score crucial goals, which led to a 2-0 win for his team.
Needless to say, the real action was on social media rather than the football field. Prior to the match, Facebook was flooded with Zamalkaweya comparing their team’s fan ethics to Al Ahly’s, however at the end of the day, it was the red-shirted fans who had the last laugh.
Moamen Zakaria, the man of the hour, has literally caused an internet frenzy with his post-score signature move, placing his hands on his head. Al Ahly social media pages started a hashtag #احتفل_كأنك_مؤمن and everyone started sharing their favorite moments.
On football fields
In the streets
At sporting clubs
In coffee shops
In masses
On couches
At weddings
And it wasn’t only men; beautiful women had their share as well
Even children stood by their team
WE SAID THIS: Don’t miss Facts Every Zamalkawy Should Know Before Mocking Al Ahly.
