From Cult’s Reusable Jar to Koffee Kulture’s Canned Coffee: Top Creations for Caffeine Junkies

Anyone who hits up Cairo will notice that, along with the nation’s love of food, there is also an indisputable ongoing love affair with coffee. Everywhere you turn, bam, a coffee shop, and the thing is, these cafes just seem to keep getting better.

Lately, these shops have been concocting whimsical and out-of-the-box coffee creations. So with that, here is a special guide on the coolest coffee spots serving up unique concoctions:

Koffee Kulture’s Canned Coffee

Have you ever thought of drinking your coffee from a can? Well, Koffee Kulture decided to make that their trademark. The neon-splayed, pastel-green coffee shop is one of Arkan Plaza’s ultimate hot spots. Once inside, you’ll have to get your hands on any of their coffees served in their signature glass cans.

We are talking about everything from their iced pistachio latte and iced Spanish latte to their Iced Amerikano, all served in their signature glass cans.

Hi Monkey’s Glass Bottled Coffee

Bringing something completely different to the coffee playing field is Hi Monkeys, the first coffee brewery in Egypt specialized in serving coffee in elusive glass bottles, ones that have an uncanny resemblance to ones found in a wine cellar.

These gorgeous bottles are filled with coffee sourced from Hi Monkey’s micro-farms in Dubai. Their brews, classic, flavored, and their signature berry-infused Dirty rendition, can all be purchased online and delivered in Cairo through Hi Monkey’s Instagram.

20 Gram’s Luxurious Lattes

Lovers of iced lattes probably got used to the popular flavors of salted caramel and the famous Spanish latte. However, it is always good to spice things up, and that is where 20 Grams comes in. With branches open in New Cairo and Sheikh Zayed, the coffee chain has been changing up the coffee scene.

At 20 Grams, you can order unique concoctions like their Amber latte, which boasts a warm, honey-like color, or their fun take on the actress Halle Berry, “Hala Berry,” made from one shot of coffee, fresh berries, and ice cream.

Mulliri’s Albanian Coffee

Traveling to a new land that goes beyond Egypt’s waters is Mulliri, an Albanian cafe that serves up unique coffee blends from the European country. The coffee beans, sourced from Albania, give you just the right kick to start off your morning.

With a packed menu, you can try many coffee combinations, including their cappuccino chocomel and filter coffee V60.

Social Speciality Coffee’s Whimsical Lattes

Taking Sheikh Zayed by storm, Social Speciality Coffee took over New Cairo, with two branches opening up across the popular district. Their motto is  “Get up and Get Social,” and that is the exact vibe you’ll experience at their cafe. Their drinks are also quite special, especially their lattes.

Just like 20 Grams, Social Speciality Coffee knows how to serve up lattes with a fun twist. One of their many specialities is their cereal latte filled with actual cereal flakes and lavender latte.

CAF’s Con Helado

Ice coffees are great, but sometimes we want that extra icy kick, and CAF knows just how to serve it up. The coffee shop, with branches in New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, Katameya, and Tahrir, offers everything from sugary lattes to Dutch brews.

One of their coolest concoctions is their Con Helado, coffee filled with chopped ice cream sandwiches that give you your coffee fill along with some much-needed icy goodness.

Dancing Goat’s Melting Chocolate Mocha

In Cairo’s bustling coffee scene, some spots know how to stand out, and Dancing Goat is one of them. In less than a year, they opened seven branches across New Cairo, and for good reason: They serve indisputably good coffee.

Boasting strong aromatic flavors, their coffee is made through a series of intricate steps using premium beans. Along with their specially roasted drinks, they also know how to whip out-of-box drinks like their iced mocha, made by melting chocolate chips with coffee.

Cult’s Reusable Jar Coffee

There is something about drinking coffee from a unique glass vessel that is why Koffee Kulture became so popular with its canned coffee. Hitting up the same bandwagon is Cult, the trending new eatery all about unique bagel creations. Their coffee has also been generating unique coffee creations served in their signature reusable glass jars, which you can reuse to make your own coffee.

They are special in whipping out seasonal flavors, like their “flavor of the fall” house-made cinnamon sugar syrup iced latte. They also like to make playful drinks, including their signature Spanish latte topped with Italian mascarpone and enjoyed with freshly baked lady fingers.

Brown Nose’s Eclectic Coffee

Making a big name for itself, from Marassi all the way to New Cairo’s 5A, Brown Nose is one of the many go-to spots for that cup of Joe. It is a cafe made for every coffee connoisseur as they do it, from Ethiopian Arabica with floral blueberry notes to Brazilian beans with hints of dark chocolate.

Did you know that they actually use computer software to perfect their wide selection of coffee? It makes sense why so many flock to this coffee shop for a sip of their unique roasted creations.

Seven Fortunes Unique Lattes

Coming all the way from Dubai, Seven Fortunes is the coffee shop that does feel like it is giving out fortunes through its unique caffeinated concoctions. From their signature pink cold foam iced matcha latte to their canned iced lattes, they do it all.

With all these coffee concoctions taking over Cairo’s caffeine scene, you have plenty of options to get that boost of energy this summer.
