Find Out Why This Egyptian Female Journalist Was Picked by Philips Beauty

Via Mihaela Noroc

2017 feels like the year for Egyptian women. Every day we wake up in Om El Donya, we automatically get inspired and awed by a new woman from our homeland one way or another. Egyptian journalist, Wafaa ElBadry, has been everywhere on social media this week.

Mihaela Noroc is a Romanian photographer who started capturing the beauty of thousands of women of all ages in the streets for her project, The Atlas of Beauty. ElBadry just happened to be one of the thousands of women captured by the lenses of Noroc.

Philips Beauty started the project #BeautyExplorers with the renowned photographer where women get to share their journeys. ElBadry, 35-years-old journalist that works for the German Channel DW and formerly at Sada Elbalad, shares her story of escaping oppression during the revolution and searching for freedom.
