Remember Fayha Choir from Arabs Got Talent? The singers who Ali Jaber, Najwa Karam, and Amr Adeeb were mind-blown by? They made it all the way to the finals, and although they didn’t win AGT, they’ve been working hard and winning big everywhere else!

Fayha Choir, a choir established 13 years ago in Tripoli, Lebanon, achieved one of the greatest and most valuable musical awards in 2015 for their social work with refugees in Lebanon, for spreading the love of Arab music, and showing the world what Arabic heritage is truly about. In the musical world, this award is the equivalent of a Nobel Peace Prize, it’s called The Music Rights award, given every other year by the International Music Council, which is basically the highest musical organization in the world.

We promised you the first prize. #mekhdina

Just less than a year ago, they competed against more than a dozen musical groups and won first place in ChoirFest Middle East in Dubai. It was the same exact day that Leen El-Hayek, who’s also from Tripoli, Lebanon won The Voice Kids. That day, the news went crazy over its strong musical talents that steamed out of this unexpected city.

Today, Fayha Choir is not only the choir of Tripoli, but has also branched out to Beirut. We can easily go as far as to claim that it’s the choir of Lebanon. Maybe one day it will be the national Lebanese choir, but for now it’s Fayha Choir, an acapella musical group comprised of passionate singers from all over Lebanon who just won two prizes in a the Music and Sea International Choir Festival in Greece less than a week ago!

WE SAID THIS: Keep on the amazing work and make Lebanon proud!
