Dubai Police Department has made it to the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest Iftar table, stretching to six km long. Hosting more than 18,000 fasting workers, the event was held in Dubai Industrial Park in Jebel Ali as part of the “Zayed Iftar” initiative.

Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, said that they worked for a limited time as the preparation of the longest Iftar table worldwide begun one day before Ramadan started. About 250 employees of the Dubai Police Department with different ranks and positions helped in the implementation of the day.
