By Summer El-morally
We’ve been getting bad news lately, but in a positive manner, and for a change, the Ministry of Transport announced that Cancer patients will be dedicated four seats in all standard and air-conditioned trains along with their companions.
Assistant Minister of Transport Amr Shahat added that Cancer patients will be offered annual identity cards by the Railway Authority with one extra companion.
The operations of the additional trains are set to end on June 26, to meet the large numbers of passengers during Eid, adding a total of 169,000 additional seats, in Cairo and Upper Egypt, according to Shahat.
