Breaking: Egypt’s Civil Defense Authorities Report a Plane Crash at El Gouna Airport
Update: The aircraft involved was a commercial tour plane and not a private plane as previously reported.
Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation reported a plane crash at El Gouna Airport, that resulted in the death of the two pilots, Akram El Hosary and Mohamed Said.
Four ambulances were immediately sent to the location of the accident. The plane belonged to the company “Air Man Sky Sports” and was on a leisure trip in El Gouna.
Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Pilot Mohamad Manar, formed a committee to visit the site of the accident for initial inspection and investigate into the causes of the accident.
