Bathroom Break With Ghazy: Music Was Never About Your Taste!

I noticed something today.

Music is not based on taste. You have shit music, alright music, good music and fucking epic music. I’ve been listening to music from a really young age. Not your twinkle twinkle little star shit, but my dad had records and tapes of the Beatles, Genesis, Aerosmith (and unfortunately some Rod Stewart) lying around the house. That’s all I listened to growing up. So much variety.

When I listen to a song, whether its rock, pop, hip hop, metal, rap, Latin or even tribal shit…if I like it, it means it’s good. If I don’t, then it means it’s shit. The world doesn’t revolve around what I think, but looking at the bigger picture, it should.

So when some criticize my music, or the music I like then they are just plain idiots because that is good music. When people listen to horrendous shit like Dubstep, Dream Theater and Elevator Jazz Music and have the nerve to say that Oasis is a horrible band, then I will personally smack them across the head.  

Maybe men will understand my metaphor: If Angelina Jolie comes up to you and asks you to do her, you will never say no. Why? Because she’s fucking stunning and all men would.

Now, when “Wonderwall” by Oasis is being played, you be quiet and listen. Why? Because that’s fucking great music and everyone should agree.
