It seems like Dubai will have a game-changer in the hospitality industry, with in-house-cinemas being the new trend in hotels. Reel Cinemas has announced that it is set to open the city’s first hotel-cinema in Rove Downtown Hotel. The cinema will have 49 seats, and it will cater to hotel guests and residents. Tickets prices will include popcorn and a soft drink, and it will screen blockbusters as well as alternative content like football matches and regional cinema.

In a similar manner, Dubai is also set to get a cinema-themed hotel, Aloft Dubai City Centre Deira. Slated to open in the coming weeks, the hotel will feature 25 rooms specially designed to cater to true movie enthusiasts. Each of the themed rooms will be equipped with films, TV screens, projectors and enhanced sound systems for a full and authentic cinema experience.

There will also be an Outdoor Vox Cinema where guests can gather to watch the latest releases in a more traditional setting.

WE SAID THIS: Still waiting for the swimming pool cinema concept to happen.
