Football Icon, Aboutrika, Announces Return to Egypt Via Twitter

Great news for Egyptian football lovers. Former National and Al-Ahly Football Player, Mohamed Aboutrika, tweeted emojis of Egypt’s flag with a short message saying “Soon” and we can only understand that he might be coming back to Egypt. Aboutrika has not been allowed to enter Egypt after Cairo’s Criminal Court has put him on the terror list in January 2017.

This Monday, the Court of Cassation recommended to accept an appeal submitted from Aboutrika’s lawyers to cancel the previous court verdict. Following Aboutrika’s tweet, it seems that things are going in a positive direction for the Egyptian legend.

The tweet garnered a lot of attention from current players in Al-Ahly football team. Yet, the best interaction just happened to be with Twitter’s ruler, Actor Mohamed Henedy. The actor wished Aboutrika a safe return to the country, to which Trika replied stating that Henedy should get ready for an evitable beat in a real football match, the same way he got beat in the play station game, referring to Turki Al-Sheikh, the Chairman of the General Sport Authority, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, visit to Egypt.

WE SAID THIS: Can Henedy be any cooler?
