Ultras Ahlawy Attack Al-Ahly Team Players at Nasr City’s Al-Ahly Sporting Club

In an ugly turn of events for Egypt’s football team, members of the Ultras Ahlawy attempted to attack Al-Ahly footbally player Hossam Ghali during practice in Nasr City’s Al-Ahly sporting club. According to Al-Shorouk, the practice was supposed to be held at the club’s Gezirah branch, however news surfaced that Ultras Ahlawy members were planning an attack on the team which lead to the change of location.

Immediately after practice started, Ultras started verbally attacking the Al-Ahly players, from Hossam Ghali to Emad Meteib, Amr Gamal and Saleh Gomaa, which soon ended with physical violence. It has also been reported that Amr Gamal was injured and hospitalized for an abdominal cut.
