We caught up with the co-founder of Ariika, Shahir Arslan, to discuss the creative process, “when we first started with beanbags, we found that the competition was growing and companies were copying our products. In 2012/13 we started making floatables, which included floating bags and mats, in 2014 we produced pillows customized for traveling. In 2015 we rolled out with permanently in the water.”
With summer season being a major lounging season the creators wanted to come out with something innovative. “This year we wanted to produce something even bigger, we spent months researching getting the material and in the production process, like our production manager has been sleeping in the factory to come up with the final product,” Arslan told us. Not only is it super easy to use, but The Air Puff will only set you back 395 LE which means more money to spend on fruity umbrella drinks and The Air Puff made of nylon fabric which can outlast the Mordor weather that has been casted upon us.
