Riyadh lit up on Friday evening, October 10th, as Riyadh Season 2025 opened with a massive parade stretching between Kingdom Arena and Boulevard World, marking the beginning of another packed season of entertainment, music, and spectacle in the Saudi capital.

The parade — among the most anticipated events of the year — turned the city into a stage of movement and color. Performances by international and local groups filled the streets, with giant balloons and roaming acts creating a carnival-like atmosphere. Iconic figures such as Captain Maged, Captain Tsubasa, and Baby Yoda starred in the Kingdom’s sky, adding to the celebration.
A Global Collaboration
This year’s opening parade carried an international signature through its partnership with Macy’s, the New York institution behind America’s most famous parades. For the first time outside the United States, Macy’s presented a selection of its hallmark giant balloons — each requiring hundreds of participants to guide and maneuver in synchronization, adding both precision and pageantry to the evening.

The collaboration reflects Riyadh Season’s broader ambition to blend local creativity with global entertainment standards, reinforcing the city’s growing reputation as one of the world’s most dynamic cultural and leisure destinations.
A City in Celebration
From the music and choreography to the scale of production, the parade offered a preview of what the season promises: an ongoing celebration of art, performance, and shared experience. Fireworks, illuminated floats, and live acts kept the crowds gathered well into the night — a visual prelude to months of events still to come.

As the dust settled and the final sparks faded over Boulevard World, the message was clear: Riyadh Season 2025 has arrived, once again transforming the city into a global stage.
