Queen Rania Speaks Up About Palestinian Mothers & Double Standards Amid Gaza Crisis
Jordan’s Queen Rania has spoken out against the genocide and killings of many Palestinians including children. In a post uploaded to her Instagram account, the Queen expresses her disappointment in the response of the world turning a blind eye to the lives being lost.
According to UNICEF, a reported 2,360 Palestinian children have been killed and 5,364 injured and the numbers continue to increase as Israel shows no mercy on the brutal attacks on Palestine.
She put an emphasis on Palestinian mothers loving their children like other mothers.
“I just want to remind the world that Palestinian mothers love their children just as much as any other mother in the world. And for them to have to go through this, it’s just unbelievable,” she says.
She also extended her support for what Palestinian mothers are going through at the moment.
“As a mom, we’ve seen Palestinian mothers who’ve had to write the names of their children on their hands, because the chances of them being shelled to death or their bodies turning into corpses are so high,” she added.
