Have you Heard The McDonald’s Egyptian Prankster Hakeem Kamal Sing? Well, you’re Welcome!

Two years ago, a national hero pulled the mother of all stunts and pranked the father of all burgers, McDonald’s. Hakeem Kamal went viral after making an order in standard Arabic (Fos7a) and left the guy on the phone partially stunned. Ever since the video surfaced, Kamal has been listed as one of Egypt’s social media influencers and people to follow.

The vlogger soon showed us his never-too-serious side as an artist. Just humming to the strings of his guitar, Hakeem sang sweet melodies, but never without adding his classic humor. One of his videos spoofing Egypt’s boy band WAMA garnered the attention of band member Ahmed Shamy.

And because social media’s power is real, we are watching this hilarious guy’s career nourishing right in front of our eyes. All it took was a phone prank and now he has his own music video and it’s actually good. He sounds like a young Mohamed Hamaky. That is exactly what we love about the repercussions of viral content.

Ya Layaly song takes us on a memory lane of a blossoming romance, only to end with tragedy after losing his lover in an accident. Yet, we get to watch through her camera what she saw in her man. Check out the uprising star’s heartbreaking song:
