El-Waseya’s “3amo Diaa” Is Our Spirit Animal This Month!

One actor who has taken television by storm is the unexpectedly brilliant, Mohamed Gomaa. So far we’ve watched him in two completely opposite roles in El-Waseya and Abu Omar El-Masry and he’s already one of our favorites this year.

Even though his role opposite Ahmed Ezz is nothing less than effortlessly flawless, today is all about 3amo Diaa. El-Waseya is hands down the funniest comedy series this year and we didn’t expect anything less than perfection when its two stars are Akram Hosny and Ahmed Amin.

The last thing we saw coming was someone as serious and composed as Mohamed Gomaa stealing their thunder with his on-screen gloomy character. 3amo Diaa is the most depressing, negative, hopeless and realistic man you will ever watch on tv. He knows we’re all dying and keeps reminding everyone in every single scene.

Akram Hosny plays the role of a spoilt son, trying to fulfill his late father’s will and finds himself needing 3amo Diaa’s pessimism for some poetry inspiration. This guy is hilariously the most relatable character of Ramadan.
