Hollywood Movie About the Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed, to be Produced
The Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed, is set to be the subject of a Hollywood biographical film. The movie will be made by renowned Hollywood production house STX Films.
“Patterned after great movies like Gandhi, Selma, and Darkest Hour, this project will tell the story of a dynamic, powerful personality who helped create historic change.” Said Adam Fogelson, CEO of STX Films.
The movie will be directed by Shekhar Kapur and the script will be by Cliff Dorfman. Kapur was the director of Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Dorfman was the writer of Entourage. In a similar manner, STX Films produced several blockbusters like The Foreigner, A Bad Moms Christmas, and Molly’s Game.
