In an attempt to support the global F&B community in the region, Gulfood 2018 brings together a series of relevant insights and activities under one roof. Attending this event will ease the decision making process for businesses in this sector. Gulfood 2018 will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre from the 18th till the 22nd of February.

On the event’s 23rd edition, businesses will get the chance to discover new products and suppliers as there will be almost 5,000 exhibitors from 185 visiting countries. In addition to engaging with around 97,000 attendees, such a massive event with its networking opportunities will help you stay up to date with the latest trends. Moreover, as the market is a dynamic one, the even will also provide solutions to overcome new and evolving global challenges. So basically, Gulfood opens doors for more business opportunities in the F&B sector.

As previously mentioned, the event will feature several relevant activities. One of those is the Halal World Food show, where Halal products will be displayed for those interested in capitalizing on the sector. Halal food policy-shapers will be present to discuss the certification and quality assurance as this sub-sector is fast-growing in both Muslim and non-Muslim nations.

Additionally, the exhibition will feature two new show areas; the discover zone and the newcomers lounge. The discover zone is every exhibitor’s opportunity to showcase their recently launched products. On the other side, the newcomers lounge is the place for those who are looking for suppliers if it’s their first time doing business in the MENA region.

Moreover, the event will feature the largest single-entry chefs’ competition in the world, The Emirates Culinary Guild International Salon Culinaire. Not just that, but there brands and products will also get the chance to be rewarded thanks to the introduction of The Gulfood Innovation Awards. This will include awards like “Best Organic Product”, “Best Dairy Innovation”, “Best Hot Beverage”, and many more.
