9 of the Best Spas in Dubai that You Absolutely Must Try

Every now and then, we all need to get a little pampered. Being in Dubai, naturally there are many options to choose from. So much so, that at times the choices can seem a little overwhelming. It doesn’t help that they pretty much all have great reviews.

One might think that if you are going to a five-star hotel for a spa treatment, the likeliness of you getting an exceptional treatment is high, although there is still the possibility that you might get unlucky that day.

So, before you spend your hard-earned money on ones you are not so sure about, we’ll make your life a little bit easier and share our personal favorites, from the expensive to the reasonable. They have been tried, tested and approved by us. Now, if only we could remember the names of the masseuses, we would share those too!

The good news is that with Ramadan coming up, you know we will all have a little more time on our hands to spoil ourselves! Here’s to a couple hours of well-earned bliss:

One and Only Royal Mirage – Dubai Media City

This has to be by far one of the best hammam treatments we have ever experienced. From the moment you enter to the entire three hours of the treatment, there’s not a single moment you don’t say “wow” to yourself.

They apply a honey mask to your face during the treatment – we’re not sure if we loved it so much because we’d never had one before, but it was divine.

They also have three different clay body wraps to chose from. The one they are known for is called “Elevate,” which has ginger, licorice and mustard seed.

Regardless of which treatment you choose, just make sure you don’t fall asleep in the waiting area after your treatment. We ended up taking an accidental mini nap!

Ritz Calton Spa – DIFC

If you don’t have time for a three-hour treatment, an 80-minute Thai massage will leave you feeling like a new human. Literally.

Their massages mostly feature Indonesian and Thai techniques, although you still have many options to choose from, be it a Swedish massage or the Ritz Carlton DIFC Signature.

The staff is extremely professional and attentive to your every need. The facilities available are enough to keep you occupied for more hours than you thought you had to spare! As usual, Ritz Carlton maintains their brand with the highest level of excellency.

The Address Spa – Dubai Marina

Known as a wellness spa, their 140-minute indulgence treatment does exactly that. You feel like you’re indulging in one of the most exquisite luxuries life has to offer. From a scrub to a seaweed wrap, a detox body cleansing to the perfect finish: the massage.

In some of their other treatments, they include an array of interesting ingredients that are hard to find in other hotels – some that we had never even heard of before: Neodymium magnets, Morrocan Rhassoul Clay, Rosa Mosqueta pure oil and crushed black diamonds!

If you feel like going all in, then this might be the one! And if you’re lucky, you may get a treatment room that happens to face the Marina, a gorgeous site to see as you’re about to indulge in your zen state.

The Four Seasons Dubai – Jumeirah Beach

With the heat in full effect in Dubai, facials are needed to restore your skin. We were curious to try the facilities at The Four Seasons and we were not disappointed at all!

The Vitamin Boost Facial is now a part of our personal top three facials. Your skin feels like it’s been rejuvenated to the maximum. To say that you are glowing after doesn’t do your skin justice.

Zabeel Saray Talise Spa – Jumeirah

Rated #1 in the UAE, it’s said to have the most authentic Turkish hammam treatment. Some say it’s the best they have ever had from all across the globe.

It’s a one-hour treatment, although you can go earlier to use all the facilities available, such as the swimming pool, thalassotherapy pool – which helps soothe aches and pains – two jacuzzis, two saunas – which individually have different temperatures, a steam room, a snow room – yes, you read that right – and heated beds.

Definitely a treatment to be tried and a place to visit in Dubai.

Amara Spa – Park Hyatt Creek

8-Chrio-golf

Located on the Dubai Creek golf course, it’s a beautiful site all together. Since you are on the green, they offer a unique massage technique that you rarely see: The Chirro Golf Massage – Sapphire, a deep body massage that uses golf balls! In-sync with the four-pillar techniques of synergy, the treatment incorporates enhancing flexibility, a therapeutic massage, a muscle preparation and lastly, relaxation.

If you’ve never done a treatment with golf balls, this would be the best place to try it!

SensAsia – Mall of the Emirates

For those of you who want to say within your budget but still be able to pamper yourself, this is the perfect spot. It’s not one of the most luxurious spas in the city, but it’s very popular for people in the mall or on the go who want a quick massage outside of a hotel.

Known for their BaliChic 90-minute massage as well as their Elemis 90-minute facial, you can run your errands and then spoil yourself there for an affordable treat!

Relax Spa – Um El Sheif, Jumeirah

If you love your Thai massages, then this should be the next place you visit. It’s what they offer and it’s what they know. Well known amongst the locals, they’re an authentic Thai massage house.

Don’t be fooled by the looks, which we were skeptical of, as it does look somewhat sketchy. Looks can be deceiving and what’s inside is far greater then you thought.

Avant Garden Salon – JLT

11-drrenaud-facial-products
For a simple facial, yet one that leaves you feeling relaxed and glowing, this is an affordable bet. The Dr. Renaud one is their best and it includes a mini neck and head massage that will leave your whole body tingling.

They also offer a great manicure and pedicure. With Ramadan coming soon, their discount packages will start, which are an added saving to an already reasonable price.

It’s not one of the fanciest places, but it’s very clean and the staff are well trained.
