Locations and Timings

This year, Cairo Design Week expanded its presence to three main districts and two pocket destinations.

  • Heliopolis Design District: The location that kicked off the first edition of the event, Heliopolis, or the ‘City of the Sun,’ is known for its iconic architecture that blends European, Islamic and Pharaonic styles. Its starting date is on the February 24th till the end of the week (March 2).
  • Downtown Design District: West El Ballad, where you’ll experience the bustling streets of Cairo, is a hub for everything – transportation, culture, business, arts, you name it. It’ll take place from February 25th to the end of the week.
  • Pocket Destinations (Maadi & Zamalek): Tranquility of Maadi and Zamalek’s cosmopolitan flair, these two exclusive locations, taking place from February 27th and extending through the last five days of the event will only add more depth to Cairo Design Week.
