In Pictures: Egypt’s Elite Young Designers Push boundaries With Latest #OffCairo Series

Is Kojak already the most creative designer in the region or what? The bold, the dramatic and the ever-evolving, Mohanad Kojak, has done it again with a photo shoot that takes us on a psychedelic Cairene journey.  Yet, this time the inclusive photoshoot was a collaboration with Egypt’s elite designers, stylists, and models.

Off Cairo is Clannish Egypt production, featuring some of Egypt’s biggest names in the fashion industry while creating a fashion story for Biannual Print Magazine based in New York, Nicotine magazine. Styled by Ahmed Sorour, the models were impeccably dressed in Kojak Studio, Okhtein bags, Cult Followers footwear, Jude Benhalim jewelry, and Amr Saad eyewear. Photographed & Directed by Amr Ezzeldin, the photoshoot is anything but mundane.

“The shoot was meant to capture the essence of Cairo but in a fashion-forward sense,” Kojak explained to us, adding that models were covered up in tights just like regular girls in Carinas.

Take a look at the photoshoot where vintage downtown Cairo meets Egypt’s young prompt talents:
