Yemen’s Houthi Seizes Israeli Ship To Support Palestine
Yemen announced that it seized an Israeli cargo ship in the Red Sea. They said that they would not stop there and would continue to target ships in international waters that were linked to or owned by Israel until the end of the Gaza genocide. They followed that by stating that all vessels linked to Israel “Will become a legitimate target for armed forces.”
Yemen has made clear its adamant support of Palestine and since October 7, took active measures to help aid the nation. Since the beginning of the month, Yemen launched three attacks on Israel, one on Oct. 19, when the US Navy intercepted three cruise missiles. Another was a drone attack on Oct.28 then on Oct 31, they fired drones and missiles at Israel as a way to rally behind the Palestinians. They said that they would not stop there and would continue to launch more attacks to help the Palestinians to victory.
Yemen would “Continue to carry out military operations against the Israeli enemy until the aggression against Gaza stops and the ugly crimes… against our Palestinian brothers in Gaza and the West Bank stop,” said Yahya Saree, a spokesperson for Yemen.
