Who Dressed Who? Arab Designers Rocking the Oscars 2021
This year, the Oscars were quite different than what we’ve been used to. While it wasn’t the full-scale Oscars that we’re used to seeing, the 93rd annual Academy Awards was exceptional in terms of awards and fashion. For the prizes, we could sense the diversity and inclusion, and for the fashion, there were multiple designers who adorned the red carpet with their extravagant designs. After the event was over, we wanted to shed light on some the most prominent dresses made by Arab designers.
Raya Abi Rached wore a beautiful emerald green sequin dress from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2021 collection. Erin Lim Rhodes looked stunning in a pretty long red dress with ruffles and a unique neck design. Nicolette Robinson wore a raven black ballgown with a leg slit and a glamorous bow detail from Zuhair Murad’s Pre-Fall 2021 Ready-to-Wear. And Giuliana Rancic appeared in a simple couture one-sided shoulder dress with a fine leg slit by Rami Al Ali.
