When A Higher Power Steps In: Gaza Blessed With Rain While Under Drought From Israeli Authorities

Back in 2011, in a UN report, it was stated that “Rain is the property of Israeli authorities,” meaning that Palestinians are forbidden from gathering rainwater. The shocking rule is among a long list of policies that have been undermining the rights and privileges of all Palestinians.

Today, along with Gaza being plagued by rockets and airstrikes, having no access to medicine or food, they are also not allowed the basic human right of drinking fresh rainwater.

This did not stop Palestinians from taking every chance they got to enjoy rare moments of rainfall, catching every last drop of water and quenching their thirst.
