The 20-year-old extreme sports fanatic felt that slacklining in Raouche was a psychological experience. “The biggest challenge was facing his fear of exposure which is trying to find a balance between the height, waves, winds, and cars driving by,” he told the media.

The event came to be with the help of Red Bull in an effort to boost Lebanon’s tourism — which, indeed, it did. “We believe that these experiences, coupled with our world renown nightlife, hospitality and culture will bring Lebanon back to the forefront of the region in terms of tourism. Other countries may have towers, but we have wonders,” Avedis Guidanian, Lebanese Minister of tourism, told Stepfeed.
