Too Many to Choose From? We List Ramadan 2024 Series Must-Watch & Why
A year is 12 months. However, in Egypt, it’s 11 months + Ramadan. Yes, Ramadan is that special and different in Egypt.
One of the cornerstones of Ramadan is its plethora of TV series. Just a couple of months before the holy month, trailers begin flooding our TVs.
With many series options out there, you might feel a bit overwhelmed; maybe the paradox of choice has already kicked in.
In a super quick way, we’ll go through most of the Ramadan series after watching their trailers and curate their themes in case you want some help with your choice. Now, prepare your pen and paper (or online notepad) and hop in.
IF You’re a History Fan…
History buffs should prepare themselves for an artistic ride in Karim Abdel Aziz’s “El Hashashin,” narrating the mystical story of history’s most famous assassins.
IF You’re Into Light Comedy…
Nelly Karim stars in ‘Farawla‘ as someone striving to work whatever job to achieve wealth quickly. We’re picking up comedy vibes reminiscent of ‘Sokkar’s 100 Wesh.’

Yes, Ghada Abdel Razek’s name is iconic in and of itself. She’ll be starring in ‘Seid El A’areb‘ as a woman working in the scorpion business (suits her, right?). As we already know about Ghada, she’s that strong, bold woman who’ll take revenge for her family.
IF You’re Into Influencers…
Surprisingly, in ‘Attabat Al Bahga,’ Yehya El Fakharany stars as a YouTube influencer who’s making waves in the online world. A very unexpected portrayal since most people playing these roles are younger (we’re not judging). We can’t wait for El Fakharany’s captivating performance, though.

IF You’re Into Long-Running Shows…
People who cannot not commit, raise your hands. Sometimes, we can’t just stop a series until it ends, even if its quality declines. We hope that’s not the case with Mekky’s ‘Al Kabeer Awy,’ as he’s back with Season 8 of the series. Are you in or out?
IF You’re Into Family Secrets…
