In Egypt, cold winter mornings always meant one thing: the smell of roasted sweet potatoes, or batata, drifting from street carts. Wrapped in paper, slightly smoky, and perfectly sweet—these simple treats made even the chilliest days feel cozy. And while the winter cold hasn’t hit in full force yet, the batata is already out and ready, this time not just on the streets or in your oven, but in cups everywhere. From creamy lattes to playful frappés, sweet potato drinks are this season’s must-try comfort sips.

Bakery Khan: Hot Sweet Potato
Pair your sweet potato drink with Bakery Khan’s sweet potato cinnamon rolls for the ultimate cozy combo. Sweet, spicy, and comforting, the flavor of winter mornings in a cup.
Adyct’d: Sweet Potato with Marshmallows
Adyct’d makes batata playful again, topping their sweet potato drink with fluffy marshmallows. It’s like hot cocoa met winter nostalgia and became a new favorite.
