These Sugar Crisis vs iPhone 7 Posts Perfectly Describe Egypt

Finally after months of anticipation, Egyptian Apple addicts were one step closer to their newest gadget, the iPhone 7. All it took was a few hours for photos to surface on social media of Egyptians lining up in front of Tradeline and the Internet lost it. Egyptians immediately felt the dissimilarity between people fighting for sugar and those who chose to purchase an EGP 13k+ phone.

 

While some of the Facebook comments were extremely harsh on those who chose to spend money on a gadget, claiming that the money should be donated to the less fortunate instead, others clarified that both extremes have always been a part of the country and no one should be criticized for having a certain lifestyle.
