Savoring Earthy Charm: Our Experience Of The Origins By TLT Concepts Iftar Extravaganza

Amidst the bustling eateries of Garden 8 lies the culinary oasis known as The Origins. Set across a world of earthy aesthetics, this sizzling hot destination has been taking over Garden 8.

Stepping inside, we got whisked away by its coastal allure, where wooden centerpieces and lattice ceiling lights transported us to the seaside.

Just upon entering, you’re enveloped in a warm embrace of hospitality. Many seating options, including high tables and a round bar, beckon you to settle in and enjoy your meal.

But it’s not just the ambiance that got us excited; it’s the tantalizing journey through their innovative Iftar menu, offering a new way to experience Ramadan.

Beyond its aesthetics, the true star is its delicious contemporary ethnic cuisine. From soul-soothing soups to vibrant salads, tantalizing starters to sumptuous main courses, and decadent desserts that dance on the palate – every dish is a testament to culinary artistry.

We opted for their Smoked Tomato Soup, Origins Hummus Dip, Jasmine Basmati Rice Spice, Chicken Shish Tawook, and Sahlab Konafa Tacos.

The Smoked Tomato Soup really stayed true to its name, with fiery depths of smoky flavors mingling with the sweet embrace of ripe tomatoes. Meanwhile, the Hummus Dip had those earthy and tangy undertones we all know and love.

And the pièce de résistance? It had to be the succulent Chicken Shish Tawook, marinated to perfection in a symphony of spices along with an earthy side of Mushrooms.

For dessert, we were treated to a touch of whimsy with their Taco-Shaped Konafa Rolls filled to the brim with Coconut Sahlab, Tart Berries, Lebanese Candy Floss, and crunchy Pistachios. With each bite, we were catapulted on a roller coaster ride of flavor.

With the sun setting as we enjoyed our meal, the entire restaurant transformed into a dimly lit cottage-core eatery, as each ceiling light and table lamp was turned on.

With every flicker of light, the magic of Ramadan came alive, weaving a tapestry of memories. To experience that very journey, you can book a spot through this link.
