Whether you’re a winter person like myself, or not, we all love December no matter what. It’s literally the merriest/jolliest month of the year, I mean, it’s Christmas time! And when I say Christmas, then it’s always time for a break! Out of all the travel destinations we could think of, we couldn’t think of a better winter getaway than Lebanon and here’s why!

Being situated in the heart of the Middle East makes the country a strategic travel destination in terms of proximity. It’s close to all Arab countries, hence, cheaper flight tickets; in case you book in advance since it’s a high season, of course.

Christmas and snow go together like cookies and milk, and Lebanon is quite lucky to be a Mediterranean country with plenty of white flakes! Faraya is most known for its epic ski trips packed with snowball fights, snow angels, and dreamy téléphérique rides!
