Nemra Etnein: Exploring the Concept of Second Loves Through the Eyes of 8 Different People

By Nour El Miligi

While all the traditional movies entrench the belief of “first love” with all its splendor, how real, genuine and unforgettable it is, “Nemra Etnein” introduces a rather different concept that might as well be changing the convictions we’ve always held to be true regarding the matter. When you lose your first love to death or any other reason, a second chance might be waiting around the corner, and it could just be the best fit for you.

The new Shahed series, “Nemra Etnein”, is coming along with a strong cast, paired with an ingenious plot. We’ll have to fess up that it’s already turning heads! The highly anticipated series will be streaming online on Shahid VIP on the 29th of October for audiences to feast their eyes on.

“Nemra Etnein” will feature a star-studded cast that includes Asser Yassin, Mona Zaki, Amr Youssef, Saba Mubarak, Amina Khalil, Eyad Nassar, Maged El Kedwany, Ahmed Malek and Directors Hadi Al-Bajouri, Hani Khalifa, Tamer Mohsen, Tariq Al-Erian (in his first directing experience with TV dramas), Muhammad Shaker, and Ahmed Al-Najjar.

The series consists of 8 45-minute episodes, all directly related to one another with the concept of “second love” being a prominent guest in all scenes. What adds an even more interesting element to the series is that each episode is led by a different director and takes place in one of 6 different Arab cities, from Riyadh and Jeddah to Cairo, Gouna, Beirut, and Dubai, introducing a whole new approach, as well as guaranteeing a huge fan base.

The multiplicity of ideas, directorial visions and episode scripts being written by different writers, as well as the actors being renewed in each episode will surely serve as the best example of breaking the stereotypical artworks that the audience has been getting accustomed to. So buckle up because it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

WE SAID THIS: How excited are you for the new series? On a scale of 1-10, we’re 11!
