King Salman’s New Orders to Allow Expats to Return Home on Exit and Re-entry Visas
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday an extraordinary order to allow expatriates who have an exit and re-entry visa or final exit visa to return to their countries by facilitating their travel. This new order called Auda, which means ‘to return’ in Arabic, is actually part of the King’s Absher Platform. Therefore, expatriates can now submit a request for permission to travel to their countries online through the Absher portal of the ministry.
The expatriate’s requests for travel will be received and approved in coordination with the Kingdom’s relevant authorities in order to complete their travel procedures onboard international flights.
The ministry stated that the departure is going to be through the following airports: King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Muhammad International Airport in Madinah, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
